2008 X'mas at Genting Highland

This is the 2nd time we bring Lycia to Genting for Holiday.
Lucky she can sit still in the car with the help of our portable DVD player and her favourite show "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse"

We have decided to spent X'mas at Genting as there is not much places we can bring her around in S'pore.

Lycia quite enjoy her trip and of cos daddy, Mummy and Grandparents as well.. :)

We bought Lycia to Giant Mega Mall after visit from Ah Ma house for lunch..
This is the first time Lycia sits on the Trolley but she don't really like it can only sit for a while.

Lycia just had her hair trim by Nai Nai.. see her Ah Gong fringe? Keke.. but she is still as cutie as ever..

Lantern's Festival 2008

We had our 1st Lantern Celebration at our new place and Lycia is 13 mth old then.
We decored the balcony with lots of paper lantern and candles and we can feel the mood there

Lycia Baby is Sick!!!

Today Mummy is very sad and tired cos our little baby have been sick for 3 days, she had fever, flu and cough.. poor baby.. she can't sleep at night due to congested nose. She keep crying as she had difficulties falling asleep due to her block nose and she can't breathe well due to her pacifier.. she keep taking out and putting her pacifier back her mouth while she close her eyes to whine.. mummies so heartache but there was nothing I can do.. :(

Sun night was a nightmare.. baby cannot sleep and keep on crying wants mummy to carry wants comfort.. we can only play her favourite VCD "Wheels on the bus" to keep her distracted from thinking of her discomfort. After a long while she will doze off due to fatique but will wake up after a while when she cant breath properly.

Monday bring her to see PD (Baby Bear) and give her medicine but she is still not well.
Lycia had probia taking her medicine now.. she wld turn her head away and look so miserable.. yesterday even vomitted her porridge out after she choke on her medicine.. sign no choice we have to force her to take so she can get well soon.. miss our cheery baby.. Hope you will get well soon darling!
Nose still congested and there is a lot of phlegm. Today went to work hurry search through the forum and bought for her baby vicks.. hopefully it will help her to sleep better tonight..

Mummy and Daddy's has become panda eye.. It is really tough being a parents!!!

Lycia went to the Zoo - 06/08/08

We bought Lycia BB to the Zoo on her 1st Actual Birthday. Wanted to plan something special for her 1st Birthday but don't have any idea. :)

On 6th Aug morn we bought her to ICA to collect her 1st passport (Just in case we want to bring her to Malaysia) :) thereafter we proceed straight to the zoo and reached there abt 11 plus. Initially thought bb already one yrs old so will be able to appreciate all these animals.. turn out she is so bored and keep wanting us to carry her instead of sitting in her pram.. in the end we are the one who is enjoying it..keke..

Lycia 1st Birthday Celebration - 2nd Aug 2008 at our new home Marsiling Road

Lycia 1st Birthday cake was order from Pine Garden (recommended from SMHF).
It is famous for their lychee martini cake but I think it is not really suitable for kids birthday therefore order a 2 tier round pink cake for her.. the 1st tier is lychee mousse and 2nd tier is fresh strawberry sponge cake.
Lucky all the guest like it and of cos the Birthday Girl!!! :)

Lycia Photoshoot's for her 1st Birthday

We have decided to bring Lycia to her 1st Birthday Photoshoot. The 1st is always the most memorable and exciting.. 1st Photoshot, 1st birthday celebration, 1st birthday cake etc.. hopefully mummy will have the passion to do it every year for Lycia. :)

Photoshots took place at Sembawang a housing premise.. found the studio from SMH again (my favourite forum).
Booked the appointment on 20th July, 2 weeks before Lycia Birthday celebration on the 6th Aug as was hoping to have the photos ready to show friends and relatives.

On the day itself, we let Lycia wear her birthday suits.. a pure white dress which Daddy bought from a french shop at suntec at a hefty price of $40 plus.. hmmmm mummy feel a bit heartpinch so didn't let Daddy buy in the 1st place but Daddy secretly went down to suntec again to buy the dress as daddy find that it is the best dress for Lycia bb on her 1st birthday.. pure and sweet.. but sadly the size for Lycia was not available at suntec branch and daddy have to make a trip all the way to Tanglin Mall to buy it.

The Photoshoot was quite awkward from the start as the photographer cannot get Lycia in her mood. Lycia keep crawling away from the setting and we have to try to get her back to the spot using balls, books, toys etc to attract her.. tiring for mummy, daddy and grand parents.. finally have to restore to using biscuits to bribe her to get into position but biscuits only can work wonders for a while which Lycia soon lose her patient trying to get in pose. Our last resort is her favourite "Bao Bao" which Ye Ye hurry went to buy.. finally we can get our photoshots done in 1 hr plus time.

Lycia 1st Japanese Food

On Vesak Day long weekend our Princess Lycia try a few variety of new food.
Firstly is her MacDonald's breakfast (Hotcakes) which she tried yesterday and today we bring her to have Japanese food.

Lycia tried Japanese rice and some beancurd skin not sure if she likes it or not but as usual she had her favourtie biscuits in her hand so she wouldnt make so much noise.

As curious as she is, she is into her usual habit of staring at people.. even the waitress at Ichiban Sushi was paisei at her staring. :)

Lycia 1st MacDonald Breakfast!

Lycia had her 1st MacDonald's Breakfast today which is Hotcake.. she seems to enjoy the breakfast and looking around at people.. very curious baby.. :)

She even turned her head to look at 2 boys for quite sometimes which make them so embrassed. Hahaha...

Lycia 9th Mth Old

Lycia's already 9th month old. Went for Check-up on last sat and she weighs 8.7kg standing at 72.5cm. Passed all her check-up and is on average growing rate. Really glad to hear that!

Lycia's seems to be teething now cause she was very grouchy and keep blowing saliva.. wants to bite on everything she can get hold of even on table top.. hope she will grow her small milk teeth out soon.. she has only tiny 2 tooth on the below portion now.

Lycia Bathing Time

Bathing time is Lycia Happy time as well. Recently bought a floating duck for her to play during bathing time but she don't dare to touch it.. so funny. :)
When it is time to get up, she will kick the water and splash the water all over poor mummy..
